About
Kasey Hughey, APRN
A proud native of Madison, Florida, Kasey Hughey, APRN, has been dedicated to serving her community as a healthcare professional since 2012. With over a decade of experience, Kasey has cultivated a deep understanding of the unique healthcare needs of rural populations, bringing compassion and expertise to every patient she serves.
In 2021, Kasey achieved her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Chamberlain University, a milestone that allowed her to expand her practice to include comprehensive primary care services for pediatric patients. Through her work with children, she discovered a pressing challenge—limited access to mental health services in her rural community. This realization inspired Kasey to further her education and pursue a post-master certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, also from Chamberlain University.
Today, Kasey merges her expertise in pediatric care with her passion for mental health, focusing on providing much-needed support to children struggling with emotional and behavioral challenges. At the same time, she remains dedicated to inclusive care, welcoming patients of all ages to ensure that everyone in the community has access to the mental health services they deserve.
Kasey’s mission is clear: to make a positive, lasting impact on the mental and emotional well-being of her patients, while addressing the broader healthcare needs of her beloved hometown. Her approach combines advanced training, personalized care, and a heartfelt commitment to helping her neighbors thrive.
